Si conclude nei tempi previsti il restauro della facciata di Ca’ Rezzonico sostenuto interamente da Fashion Box – Replay. In questo modo il prestigioso museo del ‘700 veneziano torna a splendere nel suo insieme dopo il profondo restauro strutturale degli anni novanta. Questo restauro, durato 18 mesi, è stato caratterizzato da un percorso artistico e comunicativo che nella nostra città non ha precedenti. Per scelta dell’azienda lo spazio sui ponteggi è stato dapprima utilizzato per evidenziare l’impegno del marchio Replay e poi per proporre le opere di quattro giovani artisti: Lucia Veronesi, Sebastien Lallemand, Isotta Dardilli e Donatella Di Cicco. Una comunicazione rispettosa, di qualità e di grande fascino lontana dagli standard commerciali usuali.

The restoration of the facade of Ca’Rezzonico palace, financed entirely by Fashion Box – Replay, has been completed on time. Thus the prestigious Museum of Eighteenth-Century Venice stands again in its full splendour, after the significant structural restoration of the nineties. The restoration works took 18 months and were epitomised by an artistic and communicative approach unprecedented in Venice. On the choice of the financing company, the space on the scaffolding was first used to highlight the commitment of the Replay brand, and then to showcase the works of four young artists: Lucia Veronesi, Sebastien Lallemand, Isotta Dardilli and Donatella Di Cicco. This form of communication was respectful, of high quality and of great appeal – and a far cry from the usual type advertising one sees around. 

“Strike while the iron is hot” is the spirit with which Ettore Bertoldini metal constructions, a historical company of master ironworkers, is participating in the “Veneziani x Venezia” – or “Venetians for Venice” – project. A nice way of saying ”get going while the getting is good”. In other words, to promote the historical heritage of Venice by polishing the sense of belonging and civic responsibility by leaving less room for words and more room for tangible deeds.

The crafts dimension today appears a bit faded, incapable of keeping abreast with modern times and not able to define its own role on today’s markets. Actually, manual skills, inventiveness, sensitivity, and aesthetic culture also drive the most advanced technological sectors.
